The music community supports each other. Without the support of the community, music venues close. Local bands move to bigger cities with better opportunities. Touring artists pass us by on their way to bigger markets. And stations like ours struggle to bring you new music or bring you to the shows you want to see.

Membership is an easy, efficient way for you to support Studio One and help create a thriving music environment in Iowa. And when you become a member you get:

• Pre-sale tickets and discount codes to concerts of the artists you hear on Studio One.
• Exclusive access to sweepstakes for tickets, band merch and more.
• Discounts in the IPR Shop, where you can buy Studio One or Iowa Public Radio gear any time you want.
• A members-only newsletter, giving you early notice on events and special offers.
• Automatic entry into most sweepstakes during membership drives.

Questions About Membership

Does my membership automatically renew every year?
If you set up a recurring donation, your Studio One sustaining membership will continue until you let us know to stop it or change it. You can also choose to make a one-time gift, which would not renew annually.

How do I change my credit card info or switch payment methods?
You can make changes at any time by contacting our accounting team at 800-861-8000 (select option 1) or accounting@iowapublicradio.org. 

How do I change or cancel my membership?
You can change or cancel your membership yourself or let us know of your changes and we will update your membership within the next week. If you'd like to talk to someone, call our accounting team at 800-861-8000 (select option 1).

Can I cover the processing fees so that you get 100% of my donation?
Yes! Credit card processing is a major expense, with fees adding up to more than $100,000 a year. You can help cover these fees along with your gift to ensure that 100% of your intended donation is used to support Studio One and IPR.

For new donations, be sure to check "opt in to cover fees" on the donation form. We'll do the math for you and you'll see your new total when you check out. If you're already a member, you can adjust your monthly donation in the member portal, let us know and we'll take care of it for you, or give us a call at 800-861-8000 to opt in over the phone.
