Erin Fuller
HostHowdy! I'm Erin Fuller, one of your weekday hosts here at Studio One.
I'm here to bring you great music and audio features throughout your day, on the radio or wherever you listen.
I love that I'm part of a radio community that showcases all sides of music. Sharing music that you may otherwise never hear is inspiring, and I'm honored and fortunate to be able to do that — thanks!
If you see me out and about in the community, give me a friendly wave and say hello!
My entries in the "best songs of all time" list:
- "The Lightning Strike" by Snow Patrol — It's a 16 minute / three movement song. My dad first played this song when there was a lightning delay during a soccer tournament when I was a kid. We sat in his car atop a hill, watching the storm and listening to this song. Now I listen to it whenever there's a thunderstorm.
- "Contact" by Daft Punk — This is another Dad introduction. He played this as a hype song a few times before I played soccer games. The build-up of the music, the noise, the volume ... it's so intense and always draws me in.
- "bigfeelings" by WILLOW — Her craftsmanship on this album is immaculate. This song is so modernly jazzy and showcases her voice excellently.
My top three favorite albums (as of today):
- Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not by Arctic Monkeys
- A Hundred Million Suns by Snow Patrol
- Random Access Memories by Daft Punk
-
Dua Saleh’s "Of Earth & Wires" blends R&B, Sudanese folk and Bon Iver collabs into a powerful must-listen record.
-
The Black Keys fourteenth studio album is out. How does "Peaches!" hold up against the rest of the band's catalogue?
-
Metric’s "Romanticize the Dive" blends nostalgic synth vibes with sharp lyrics to craft the next step in the Metric evolution.
-
Thundercat’s 'Distracted' delivers cosmic bass, sharp grooves and experimentation. The collabs with Mac Miller and A$AP Rocky are standouts.
